The UCLA Gymnastics team kept their National Championship hopes alive with a third place finish in the NCAA semifinals on Friday. With a score of 196.700, the Bruins were able to secure a spot in the Super Six Team Finals which will take place later this evening.
This will be the 19th time UCLA Gymnastics will be participating in the NCAA Finals. The Bruins will be joined by Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU and Georgia.
UCLA had good performances on the uneven bars, floor exercises and the vault, but it was their work on the balance beam that kept them in the competition.
