The UCLA Bruins baseball team followed up Friday's no hit performance with a very solid 6-0 victory over the Arizona Wildcats yesterday.
The UCLA Bruins (40-12; 20-6 PAC 12) got another huge performance from its pitching staff and the Bruins hit well yesterday, in a 6-0 shutout victory over the Arizona Wildcats (28-22; 12-17 PAC 12). The win gives UCLA the series win, bringing their weekend series record to 13-0 this season. Grant Watson pitched masterfully, throwing 7 scoreless innings, scattering 4 hits, with 6 strikeouts, to earn his 30th victory as a Bruin, breaking a second place tie for all-time UCLA career wins with Adam Plutko.
