UCLA Football picked up a huge skill position commitment on Thursday afternoon, as wide receiver Devon Cooley (Buena Park, CA/St. John Bosco) announced his commitment to the Bruins through his Twitter account during a visit to Westwood.
Cooley, a consensus high 3-star recruit but a solid 4-star on Scout.com and member of the 2018 Scout 300, has been a strong UCLA lean since he was verbally offered by the Bruins at their on-campus Elite Camp in the summer of 2016. After many visits to UCLA’s campus and a year of building bonds with UCLA’s coaches, both old and new, Cooley confirmed what many suspected was an inevitability by locking down his spot in UCLA’s 2018 football recruiting class.
