The UCLA Bruins picked up one more commitment this afternoon when offensive guard Josh Carlin from Sierra Canyon HS in Chatsworth announced that he is headed to Westwood.
Soon thereafter, UCLA made it official.
According to an article by 247Sports’ Patrick Yew, UCLA quickly extended an offer to Carlin this afternoon after Sataoa Laumea of Eisenhower HS in Rialto signed with Utah. Upon receiving the offer from the Bruins, Carlin committed and signed with UCLA.
Yew adds that Carlin had “offers from San Jose State, New Mexico, and several Ivy League programs”
Carlin told Yew that Coach Frye “likes my mean streak and how I finish every single play!
