With a true freshman quarterback projected to start in Josh Rosen, it is essential that UCLA provides Rosen with all of the help he can get. Fortunately, the Bruins return 5 of their 6 top pass catchers from last season.
The Starters
Last season, UCLA best receiver was without a doubt Jordan Payton. This season, that trend should continue. While he doesn’t possess any elite skill nor elite size, Payton is as consistent a pass catcher as there is. Last year, seemingly, every time UCLA needed a first down during a key drive, Payton was the go-to-guy.
