The UCLA football team has lost another player for the rest of the season, due to an injury.
This time, it’s UCLA graduate transfer lineman Justin Murphy. Murphy sent out a tweet this morning indicating that he has had another knee surgery, which is his third in three seasons. His tweet implied that he will be out for the remainder of the season.
Based on his tweet, it sounds like Murphy will apply for an NCAA injury waiver for an extra year of eligibility. Whether he gets it will depend on the NCAA, of course.
