UCLA football looks within to rebuild after poor season

It took UCLA only 17 hours to start moving on from 2016, announcing that offensive coordinator Kennedy Polamalu would not return next year, just one day after the season officially ended.

The Bruins (4-8, 2-7 Pac-12) have much more work to do to move on from its worst season of the Jim Mora era as they missed a bowl game for the first time since 2010.

“In order for us to get back to where we want to be, we all have to resist the urge to look somewhere else for the problem and look at ourselves first,” Mora said after Saturday’s 36-10 season-finale loss at Cal.
