It was ugly. It was horrifying. It was disgusting. It was a win. The UCLA Football (6-2, 3-2) team managed to squeak by the last place Colorado Buffaloes (4-5, 1-4) in a Halloween Horror of a game. Though the words “squeaked by” and “Colorado” are not normally used in the same sentence, it is important to know that the Bruins, despite the horrific win, is now bowl eligible.
The Bruins nearly became not bowl eligible as they needed a late fourth quarter score to comeback and beat the Buffaloes. UCLA had led 28-13 midway through the third quarter, but three straight Colorado scores saw the Buffs go up 31-28 midway through the 4th quarter on the 24th ranked team in the nation.
