UCLA’s quarterback depth got a little bit better yesterday when the UCLA Bruins announced on Twitter that Washington Huskies quarterback Colson Yankoff will transfer to Westwood. Yankoff was a four-star recruit who was ranked as the sixth-best dual threat quarterback before enrolling at Washington last season.
Yankoff spent only one season in Seattle. He redshirted last season for the Huskies. At this point, it’s not clear if Yankoff will be required to sit out a season due to transfer rules or not. Ben Bolch of the LA Times writes, “The 6-foot-4, 209-pound Yankoff will be eligible after sitting out the 2019 season to satisfy transfer rules.
