LOS ANGELES – Boss Tagaloa knows all about playing as a freshman. He was the first player in De La Salle history to play varsity football as a freshman. By the time the defensive lineman left the national high school football powerhouse, he was a leader on the team teaching his younger teammates. Now he’s the one receiving instruction.
“If I could describe it in one word, it’s learning,” the defensive tackle said of his first few weeks of college football. “I’m learning more from Eli (Ankou) and Eddie (Vanderdoes) and just getting more experience on the field.
