The Big West Conference champion Cal State Fullerton softball team will joing Pac-12 runner-up UCLA in a four-team, double-elimination NCAA regional this weekend at UCLA's Easton Stadium.
The Titans (43-14 overall, 17-4 Big West) will open their 26th NCAA appearance on Friday at 3 p.m., when they take on Mountain West Conference champion Fresno State (41-10-1, 22-1 MWC). UCLA (35-13-1, 16-5-1 Pac-12), which is the No. 12 national seed, opens against Cal State Bakersfield (16-32) on Friday at 6 p.m. Bakersfield went 3-0 to win the Western Athletic Conference Tournament and the automatic berth that comes with it.
