UCLA breezes in Pac-12 opener behind Josh Rosen

TUCSON, Ariz. – Josh Rosen wasted little time Saturday night to show that his nightmarish, interception-riddled outing the week before was behind him.

On UCLA’s opening drive, with the ball at the 35-yard line, Rosen sailed a pass over the middle of the field that receiver Thomas Duarte grabbed in stride with his right hand. As Duarte corralled the ball back toward his body, he steamrollered a couple Arizona defenders on his way into the end zone.

“I just felt connected,” Rosen said. “My feet were a little more calm in the pocket and we just linked up like we didn’t last week.
