Mick Cronin’s UCLA basketball coaching staff is now complete as it has been announced that the Bruins have hired Michael Lewis, who has been an assistant at Nebraska for the last three years.
Lewis is the third and final assistant to be hired after Cronin brought in his former lead assistant from Cincinnati, Darren Savino, and former UCLA basketball player, Rod Palmer, who spent last season with San Diego State.
Lewis comes to Westwood with nearly two decades of experience under his belt. Prior to his stop at Nebraska, he had spent the previous five seasons at Butler, which came after stints with Eastern Illinois and Stephen F.
