Sam Presti, the general manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder, announced today that Billy Donovan will return to coach the Thunder next season.
And, with that, the hopes of many Bruin fans who were hoping Donovan could replace Steve Alford at UCLA came crashing down.
Donovan was the one guy who UCLA could have potentially gone after at this point in an attempt to right the ship that is UCLA Basketball.
As a result of today’s announcement, it now appears that Bruin fans will be stuck with Steve Alford for at least another season.
At least, we still have Chip Kelly.
