The hard work has paid off for the UCLA baseball team as the Bruins have earned the top seed for the NCAA Baseball Championship.
Frankly, it’s really hard to argue against the Bruins as the top seed. They’ve been the consensus #1 team in the country for most of the season, they didn’t lose a single midweek game all season and they didn’t lose a weekend series to all season either. That’s quite the résumé that the Bruins have built up.
And, if that’s not enough, they are the only team amongst the 16 regional hosts to finish the regular season with less than 10 losses.
