UCLA’s first road trip of the season was a trip to Minneapolis for the DQ Classic where they beat the host Minnesota Golden Gophers in UCLA’s final game of the event. Next weekend, the Bruins will head back to the Twin Cities to compete in the Minneapolis Regional.
UCLA will face off against the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Friday morning at 11 am PT. The Bruins didn’t play the Zags in baseball this season, but, last year, UCLA took two of three against them at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
The fourth team in the Minneapolis Regional is Canisius.
