There seems to be no stopping the UCLA baseball team. After Monday’s win over Pepperdine and a sweep of East Carolina, the Bruins are now 28-6 on the season.
This weekend, the Bruins took a break from their Pac-12 foes as they hosted the East Carolina Pirates in a three-game series at Jackie Robinson Stadium, with a doubleheader on Saturday.
On Friday, UCLA took down ECU in a tight one as the Bruins got the 7-5 win. Michael Toglia had the big bat in this contest as his 3-hit, 5-RBI performance helped lift the Bruins in the 6th and 8th innings.
