Saturday afternoon’s trip to Corvallis presented a potential trap game for No. 22 UCLA, but there was no letdown.
The Bruins rolled to an easy 41-0 victory over sloppy Oregon State in cold, rainy conditions at Reser Stadium, winning their third straight game since a loss at Stanford on Oct. 15 and keeping pace with Utah in the tight Pac-12 South race.
“We’ll take it, and move on from here,” UCLA coach Jim Mora said.
It marked their first shutout since a 16-0 win over Oregon in 2007 and first road shutout since a 49-0 rout at Stanford in 1987.
