UCLA athletics reports revenue increase for 2014-15

The UCLA athletic department reported an increase in total department revenue of $10 million for the 2014-15 fiscal year, according to figures provided by the school in its annual Equality in Athletics Disclosure Act filing.

The department reported a balanced budget with $96.91 million in total revenue. Last year, it reported a balanced budget of $86.43 million.

Universities are required to file annual athletic-related revenues and expenses reports with the U.S. Department of Education as a stipulation for receiving federal aid.

Not surprisingly, football continues to be the prime money-making sport for UCLA, bringing in $44.
