When Paz Lenchantin joined the Pixies three years ago as the touring replacement for original bassist Kim Deal it felt a little bit like fate, she says.
“A lot of things I’ve done throughout my time are unexplainable,” the Los Angeles native says by phone a two weeks before the Pixies kicked off a spring tour that brings the band to the Fox Theatre in Pomona on Friday, April 21, the House of Blues in Anaheim on Sunday, April 23, and a pair of shows at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 25 and 26.
