After several months of speculation, UCLA Football Head Coach Jim Mora has officially named freshman quarterback Josh Rosen the starter for the Bruins going into the first game of the season against the Virginia Cavaliers.
With three-year starter Brett Hundley foregoing his senior season, the Bruins needed a new quarterback to take over command of the offense. The competition was between Hundley’s back-up from last season, Jerry Neuheisel and the Bruin’s top recruit in 2015, the #1 high school quarterback in the nation last season, Josh Rosen.
