Los Angeles Country prosecutors have declined to charge Sean "Diddy" Combs with felony assault and battery on a UCLA intern and an assistant football coach during an incident last month at the school's athletics facility, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The L.A. city attorney will reportedly now decide whether Combs' actions constitute a misdemeanor.

Combs was arrested on June 22 for an alleged assault involving a weight-room kettlebell, a university statement said.

The incident reportedly occurred after Combs' son, Justin, was kicked out of a workout at UCLA by Sal Alosi, the team's strength and conditioning coordinator.
