Randall Goforth, Ishmael Adams back in familiar territory in UCLA secondary

LOS ANGELES – Change is still afoot in UCLA’s secondary.

Beginning in last week’s loss at Stanford, Randall Goforth returned to safety.

The switch ended a two-game experiment at cornerback, a move prompted by the loss of Fabian Moreau due to a season-ending broken foot. To fill the void, Goforth had played cornerback while Tahaan Goodman took his spot at safety. That didn’t last.

“It was just an opportunity for Randall to get back to where he feels more comfortable at a position,” defensive coordinator Tom Bradley said of the switch back. “Plus, his leadership back there, getting everyone lined up, helps us tremendously.
