The good news for the UCLA Basketball team is that they are limiting Arizona to 46.9% (15/32) shooting.
The bad news is that the Wildcats are holding the Bruins to 42.3% (11/26) in the second semifinal game of the Pac-12 Tournament. UCLA is losing at halftime, 41-35.
The Bruins have reverted back to their shoot-everything-from-beyond-the-arc mentality and it is backfiring. UCLA is only 2/12 from downtown and showed no sign of switching up their approach.
Bryce Alford, the single-season 3-point record holder, has gone 0/4 from 3-point land. He has 2 points through one half.
Despite shooting 9/14 from short-to-mid range, UCLA was adamant on getting their outside shots going.
