Just a day after rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested and later released following a fight with UCLA’s strength and conditioning coach, representatives for Combs are now claiming the rapper was acting in self defense.
Combs’ son, Justin Combs, is a redshirt junior defensive back for the Bruins. He played in just four games during the entire 2014-15 season, recording one solo tackle.
A representative for Combs released a statement to the Associated Press:
“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” Nathalie Moar, a rep for Combs Enterprises, said in a statement to The Associated Press.
