LOS ANGELES – UCLA reached the point Monday night, playing its fifth NCAA regional game in four days against Maryland, at which it was running out of arms.

The Bruins also ran out of innings, losing to Maryland, 2-1, and suffering elimination from the NCAA baseball tournament in a game that ended just after 11 p.
