It has been one of the more memorable moments in a UCLA football season memorable so far for almost nothing.
Coach Jim Mora was facing the media following another Bruins’ defeat, this one to Utah at the Rose Bowl, when a reporter asked him about the possibility of “losing the locker room.”
Personally, I didn’t think the question had much merit, Mora’s players typically playing hard for him. But, hey, the coach had been losing so much else lately, maybe it was worth asking about the locker room, too.
Mora first answered “no,” then claimed he didn’t understand what the phrase even meant, and then he asked the reporter, “How many locker rooms have you been in?
