The sound of roaring exhaust and reversing trucks filled the morning air at Crown Valley Park, the site for millions of dollars in new construction and park improvements.
With an anticipated completion date before the Fourth of July, the $8.7 million in entry improvements at Crown Valley Park, known as “second tier” improvements, include a new bridge and sign, additional parking spaces and habitat restoration, according to Dan Fox, Laguna Niguel’s assistant city manager.
On a recent morning, more than a dozen workers ferried rocks across the site as the new bridge neared completion. Additional second tier improvements include a new staircase and drop-off circle at the park’s smaller entrance.
