LOS ANGELES - UCLA will host the Olympic village if Los Angeles secures the 2024 Olympics, it was announced Monday.
USC will host the media village for the Summer Games, which would be the third in the city's history.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti called the Los Angeles bid the "most athlete-centered bid this world has ever seen."
Garcetti called the Olympic village part of "an unprecedented bid ... to bring the Olympics home."
He said the media village would be heled at a $650 million new housing project at USC.
Garcetti said the villages not only are "the highest quality but also deliverable and sustainable.
