The season is drawing ever closer and there are still a number of quarterback competitions yet to have been settled. Fans of the UCLA Bruins will not have to wait any longer after head coach Jim Mora announced his starter for the 2015 season Wednesday night.
According to College Football Talk, true freshman Josh Rosen was named the starter at quarterback for the Bruins. Rosen had been in competition with redshirt juniors Jerry Neuheisel and Mike Fafaul for the entire summer and he must have showed enough to win the job.
“At some point it just becomes apparent to you,” Mora said.
