Then on Wednesday, April 19, the Kei Akagi Tokyo Trio will perform jazz and blues with composer and flutist James Newton. A member of the Miles Davis band in the late 1980s, Akagi has released 13 CDs and appeared on over 60 others as a sideman including Miles Davis’ last recorded works.
