This evening, the UCLA basketball team opens Pac-12 play in Seattle against the Washington Huskies at 7 pm PT.
The Huskies opened the season with a 10-3 mark. Washington’s only losses so far came against Tennessee to start the season, Gonzaga and Houston. Despite that, the Huskies are not in either Top 25 poll.
Unlike the Bruins, who head coach Mick Cronin said are trying to find guys who can get defensive stops, the Huskies have settled in to a rotation of about eight guys. Four of those eight guys are averaging in double figures.
Freshman forward Isaiah Stewart leads the team with an average of 19.
