This recent edition of the Foster Farms Bowl was a battle for approximately 30 minutes. After that, the Cornhuskers gave the Bruins a clinic on how to run the ball all night long.
The UCLA Bruins had jumped out to a 21-7 lead int he second quarter. That all started when Paul Perkins got the scoring going for UCLA early in the first quarter, but Imani Cross of Nebraska had got the Huskers into this game seven minutes later.
Early in the second, the Bruins benefitted from a Nebraska fumble which four plays later had a Josh Rosen pass fall into the hands of Kenny Walker for a 60-yard touchdown.
