Fail! Fail! By Michigan, the Chickens of the West

The Michigan Wolverines have bailed on a contract to play a home-and-home football series against the UCLA Bruins in 2022 and 2023, UCLA announced today.

According to the UCLA announcement:

UCLA Director of Athletics Dan Guerrero was informed of the decision on June 13, 2019.

The contract, signed by the schools on Sept. 12, 2013, called for a home-and-home series beginning Sept. 10, 2022 at Michigan Stadium. The Wolverines were set to make a return trip to the Rose Bowl on Sept. 2, 2023.
