CHICAGO – The Dodgers’ issues with left-handers just won’t go away.
Brett Anderson is the latest southpaw to stymie the Dodgers, combining with the Chicago Cubs’ bullpen on a six-hit shutout Thursday afternoon as the Dodgers lost, 4-0, at Wrigley Field.
The Dodgers lost two of three in both Chicago and Colorado and return home having gone 2-4 on their first trip of the season. Three of the four losses came in games started by left-handers for the opposing team.
Anderson was hardly dominant but he held the Dodgers to just three hits in his five scoreless innings.
