It’s another College Football Saturday. UCLA has this week off which, after last week’s loss to Oregon State, reminds me of that line from the end of the movie WarGames.
“Strange game. The only winning move is not to play.” That movie quote just seems appropriate right now.
So, while UCLA’s bye week may be the closest thing the Bruins get to a win for the rest of the season, the rest of college football rolls on.
Indeed, it does in a big way. After all, the early game of the day features the #6 Oklahoma Sooners taking on the #11 Texas Longhorns in the Red River Shootout at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
