PALO ALTO – No quarterback in college football history had ever gone 5-0 against one team.
That changed Thursday night at Stanford Stadium.
For the fifth time since 2012, Stanford senior quarterback Kevin Hogan marched the Cardinal to a win over UCLA, this time by the largest margin yet, 56-35.
It marked the most points the Bruins had allowed in a game in Coach Jim Mora’s four-year tenure, as Stanford went on to beat them for the eighth consecutive time, a streak that dates to 2008.
“The only people who harp on the past are really the fans and the media, because it’s something to talk about,” Mora said.
