Jeffrey Manning, a defensive back from Cathedral High, announced his commitment to UCLA on Thursday.
Manning is the fourth player to commit to the Bruins’ 2017 recruiting class.
“Thankful for this opportunity #4’sUP #8Clap,” Manning wrote on Twitter.
UCLA offered Manning, 6-feet-1 and 190 pounds, last weekend.
He chose UCLA among offers from Boise State, Brigham Young, Fresno State, Oregon State, Utah and Washington State, among others.
UCLA has commitments from defensive linemen Hunter Nichols, Manning’s high school teammate, and Jaelan Phillips from Redlands East Valley and offensive lineman Kanan Ray from Sierra Canyon.
