Stanford coach David Shaw, ever the realist, tried to downplay any perception that his team's mastery of UCLA over the past several years will play a factor as the teams renew their series tonight in Palo Alto.
The Cardinal have won seven straight against UCLA, including all four since Jim Mora took over as head coach prior to the 2012 season, but Shaw's not buying the winning streak counting for much.
"Because most of the guys that have played in those games are not on either team," he reasoned. "So really, you've got young guys in the game that don't remember the earlier games.
