LOS ANGELES – UCLA welcomed back one of its starting cornerbacks Tuesday, but lost another.
As junior Ishmael Adams was reinstated to the team following a three-week suspension stemming from his arrest on suspicion of felony robbery, the Bruins learned that senior Fabian Moreau will require surgery to repair a fractured foot sustained in Saturday’s game against BYU and miss the rest of the season.
Moreau was scheduled to undergo surgery for a Lisfranc injury, which involves small broken bones in the foot, later Tuesday.
“It’s a huge blow, a huge blow,” UCLA coach Jim Mora said.
