UCLA shortstop Kevin Kramer was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second round of the MLB Draft this evening.
In 2015, Kramer led the Bruins in multiple offensive categories including runs scored (55), hits (82), walks (36), and tied Chris Keck for the team lead in home runs (7).

The Turlock native was seen as a spark plug for the team not just during the NCAA Regionals this year when he led the team to two victories on Sunday to force a deciding game against Maryland on Monday night, but also all season long as he continually delivered in the clutch for the Bruins.
