It's been a long, arduous preseason camp for UCF football players.
Leaders like quarterback Justin Holman faced the challenge of creating chemistry among inexperienced skill players, many of the Knights were locked in taxing position battles, a few players switched positions and the team suffered a lot of bumps and bruises during the past 18 days.
Despite the obstacles, Holman said his team will be ready when during UCF's season opener against FlU Sept. 3. The Knights will start game planning next week for the season opener.
"I felt good about camp, this was a big chemistry camp," Holman said after practice Saturday.
