UCF’s Dillon Gabriel finished among the top quarterbacks in the country in several statistical categories last season.
It’s because of his strong showing that the junior-to-be has found himself on several preseason watch lists including one at Pro Football Focus that has the Knights signal-caller ranked fourth among all 130 starting quarterbacks heading into this season.
Gabriel passed for 3,570 yards and 32 touchdowns in 2020. It was the second straight season in which the Hawaii native has thrown for at least 3,500 yards and 29 touchdowns.
According to PFF’s database, Gabriel ranked second in the Football Bowl Subdivision in deep passing yards with 1,338.
