The UCF football team’s American Athletic Conference opener against East Carolina on Saturday, Sept. 26, will kick off at noon and it will be streamed online at ESPN+.
Under the new deal, ESPN agreed to broadcast at least 40 regular-season football games per season, with at least 20 of those on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, as well as the conference championship game on either ABC or ESPN.
It’s the second game of UCF’s revised 2020 schedule and the second consecutive road contest with the Knights traveling to Greenville, N.C., for the first time since 2018. There will be no fans in the stands at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for the game, with school officials closing the stadium to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
