It wasn’t the type of offensive performance UCF fans are used to seeing, but the Knights shook off a slow start and the defense forced three takeaways during a 38-13 win over Temple Saturday night.
UCF (5-2, 4-2 AAC) has won four consecutive games in the series by an average of 26 points per game.
The offense appeared to sleepwalk through the first half against the Owls (1-5, 1-5 AAC), with the Knights going scoreless in the second quarter for the first time all season. UCF went the final 21 minutes of the first half without scoring a point.
