Michael Colubiale will be back in a UCF football uniform this season after being granted an additional year of eligibility from the NCAA, the Knights tight end announced on social media Friday.
“Crazy how things workout. I’ve received notice that the NCAA granted me another year eligibility from an injury I had in 2015 making me able to play this upcoming season! But more importantly, pursue a Masters degree & more ’s. Cant wait to get back to work @UCF_Football,” the Spruce Creek High product posted on Twitter.
Colubiale missed the entire 2015 season with an injury but returned to play in 12 games in 2016 and 13 games in 2017.
