Sophomore quarterback Garrett Kruczek is ready for the opportunity to play for UCF in the 2016 season.
Kruczek, the son of former UCF head coach Mike Kruczek, played for Copiah-Lincoln Community College last year before joining the Knights as a preferred walk-on early this year.
Kruczek talked with the Orlando Sentinel about the UCF's offense and the team's coaching staff.
Question: What are some of the most important things that you've learned from your dad?
Answer: "He's always been my quarterback coach, you know, from time I was small until now and [quarterbacks] coach [Mario] Verduzco has done a great job with me, tuning up things that I didn't know about the game.
