UCF doesn’t enter a game as an underdog often, but the Knights clearly are not the favorite entering Saturday’s showdown with No. 7 Cincinnati at the Bounce House.
The Bearcats are 5.5-point favorites to beat the Knights, according to the consensus betting average compiled by VegasInsiders.com. It’s the first time a UCF team has not been considered a favorite entering a game since facing off against LSU in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl. In fact, the Knights have been favored during 42 of their last 45 games dating back to 2017.
“We always are in a hunter mentality regardless of what they say or who’s going to win and who’s not going to win,” UCF senior running back Greg McCrae said.
