First of all, let's stop with the angry, vitriolic "George O'Leary needs to be fired immediately!" diatribes.
This is not going to happen, nor should it. O'Leary has literally and figuratively built UCF's football program from the ground up — on the field, in the classroom and with the facilities. There's no question, he has taken UCF to unprecedented heights.
Unfortunately, this season is heading toward unimaginable lows.
This is not the way it was supposed to be.
This is not the way it should be.
But this is the way it is.
UCF, in what most everyone expected to be O'Leary's final triumphant season as head coach, is a bad, beaten and battered football team right now.
