Not only did USF fans have to watch Friday as their most hated rivals, the UCF Knights, celebrated their historic acceptance into the Big 12; they then had to watch their TerriBulls muddle through a 42-20 loss to the Florida Gators on Saturday in a non-home home game in front of mostly UF fans at Raymond James Stadium.
The crowd was inexplicably announced as a sellout of 66,646, but there were literally thousands of Bulls fans disguised as empty seats. Of course, can you really blame USF supporters for staying home, shutting the curtains, day-drinking and listening to Hank Williams sing, “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry?
